MEET THE FOUNDER

ARTIST BEHIND THE BRAND

Motivated by urgent climate change issues, FOTU was conceived by artist Abigail as a response to the complex emotions evoked by global climate shifts. Drawing on her background in printmaking and design, Abigail sought to create wearable art—original pieces that reflect emotional reactions to climate change. These designs are printed on sustainable recycled plastic fabrics using innovative, waste-free printing processes.

HANDMADE RAVE-INSPIRED DESIGNS

Inspired by London’s vibrant underground music and nightlife scene, these designs are crafted to flatter all body types while prioritising comfort and freedom of movement. Each piece boldly expresses individuality, transforming the wearer into a canvas for bespoke artwork.

EMOTION IS THE FABRIC OF THE UNIVERSE

Abigail’s neurodiversity and synesthesia profoundly shape her artistic vision; she perceives emotions as vibrant colours, enabling her to transform complex feelings into visual experiences. This unique perspective led her to recognise that her artwork could serve as a language for expressing difficult emotions, fostering understanding and connection. Inspired by this revelation, she initiated art therapy and wellness workshops, creating a supportive space where participants can explore their own emotions through the power of creativity and colour.
